Challenge Time again!

This month's challenge at Lost Coast Designs is "Circles"

For this  card I used the small circle stamp from the Shadow Frame Set with different colours distress ink. On top of that the Feather Bird in plain black ink

The sentiment is also from Lost Coast Designs

Challenge by Loast Coast Designs: Numbers

For this months challenge by Lost Coast Designs "Numbers" I created the card below:

I used several Lost Coast Designs stamps :

The lines at the background I stamped with the large journaling letter guide. For the numbers I used the Rustic Alphabet set and Bingo Border.

Serenity Art Journal Pagina

Today I have an art journal page to share with you

I started with a gelli print I made the other day and used it for this page's background. Then I added an extra layer by using stencils and after that some Tim Holtz washi tape (the red numbers) and another piece of black & white washi tape ( I don't remember which brand it is or where it's coming from).

The stamps I used are from Lost Coast designs:
Rustic Checkerboard border
Serentity Diva

I finished this "masterpiece" by adding some white cirkels with acryllic paint and an old lid from "something".

Colorful Butterfly

There's a new Challenge blog for Lost Coast Designs and Carmen's Veranda. Please join the new blog for monthly challenges, you will have twice the inspiration and double the fun!

As an example for the first challenge I made this card with 2 new stamps by Lost Coast designs. I used the lovely Butterfly face as a focal point and for the  background I stamped and embossed the Grunge Window Wall stamp.

The bright colours you see are made with Distress Stains and I embossed the background stamp with purple embossing powder.(which is unfortunately a bit hard to see on the pictures).

 
I finished with some white acryllic paint spatters.

Lifebook 2015 week 13 with Juliette Crane

My week 13 with Juliette Crane - My first Owl ever,so not perfect at all but I loved making her.

Here I show you a few step by step images of "The Process' lol.  I really had to go "throught the ugly" as I was almost throwing my owl away a couple of times.

The first step, creating a background with the technique Juliette showed us.

I toned it down a bit by adding a thin layer of transparent white paint ( It was too bright for me at this point)

Here comes the "Ugly" LOL  I really didn't like it but I kept on going........ 

to end up with this, my first Owl ever ;)

To finish this art journal page I stamped the quote (using versamark green permanent ink) on some old music paper and then cut the letters before applying them it onto the background.

One of my favourite stamps by Lost Coast Designs : Los Tres Caballeros in a gold leaf boat :)

License plate alphabet

This time I made another art Journal page. For the background I used some stencils, spray inks, markers and of course some Lost Coast stamps.  The Travel Stuff and the Snowfalkes stamp set I used for creating the background. (Take a look at the close-up picture to see).

For the text I used my Favourite Licence plate set, stamped the text on some gelli print scraps, cut them out and glued them on the background. For the border I used the Rustic Checkerboard Border.

Lost Coast LOVE

 

A page in Dyan's "perfect" big journal :)

The background for this Art Journal Page  I made with a small gelliplate, using it like a stamp, combining it with stencils and different tools. The "LOVE" stamp is from the Lost Coast Designs Dictionary words collection. I just love using this one LOL

The flowers on the right I drew myself  with white acryllic paint and a very thin brush with black paint for outlining them.

 

Clean and Simple

For the 4th Lost Coast Designs Challenge I created this CAS card.
Using the Head in Hands stamp which I only stamped with black ink on Hazel & Ruby's tissuepaper. That's easy peasy isn't it ?  ;)

Art Journal page

As I love mixed media and art journals I made this Art Journal page to show you that Lost Coast Designs Stamps are not for card making only. I used 4 different Lost Coast stamps to create this page.
Of course I used one of the lovely new Manga Goth girl stamps as a focal point. For the background I used a Nellann Roberts stamp mat (which I stamped and then sprayed with some water to get a bit of a grungy look), the domino border and a dictionary "Love" stamp.

Round Robin @The Craftorij

For a Round Robin journal at my Favourite Art and Mixed Media Supply shop De Craftorij, I created this spread using the Lost Coast Designs Domino border with, in the front, the background stamp Large Shrubbery.
The background I made with acryllic paints and templates. The red heart I cut from a piece of scrap paper with paint on it. Hope you like it, thanks for watching:)

Documented Life Project week 15 : Monochromatic

For this weeks prompt I choose the colour blue and used one of my new Lost Coast Designs Stamps "Feather Diva no Face" I added the baby face which I cut from a magazine. I also used some goodies I got from Happy Mail like the stamps from the USA and the little house from Belgium.

Los Tres Caballeros

With 2 of my new Lost Coast Designs stamps I made this page in my art journal. I got a lovely gelli-plate background from my friend Coby ( Thank you so much Coby xxx) and just added the Los Tres Caballeros stamp and a Bingo border. Some stitching around the page and done. Needed no more I thought. Hope you like it. :)

Frida & Roses

For a Round Robin I created these Frida & Roses pages. The background is made with watercolour pencils and a new Stampotique stamp by France Papillon. For the roses I used a ghosting technique and Frida ( Lost Coast Designs ) is stamped on a Tag with the same coloured background and stitched into the journal.

Art Specially Event 2014 | Day 2

Another day at the Art Specially Event in Holland, more crafty friends and again a wonderful Make & Take with France Papillon who was working with the new LuminArte products. Twinkling H2Os Watercolors and Acrylic Glaze, great to work with so needed to buy some of course. :)

Also had a great talk with Linda from Lost Coast Designs, they have an amazing range with beautiful stamps and I am going to be part of their design team asap. Whoop Whoop!
