For a workshop I created this Ramsjbook. I was inspired by the lovely work of Julie Fei Fan Balzer and Betty Franks Krause. I like what they are doing so I loved making a book like this and gave it my own Julie & Betty "twist" ;)

Craftorij Zomer Challenge 2015 #CZC 2015

At the Craftorij facebook group we are doing a challenge this summer to make a little piece of artwork every day. It's a bit similar to ICAD and very fun to do. Here are my creations from the first 7 days.

Lifebook 2015 week 15 with Tamara Laporte

Lifebook 2015 time again!!

Week 15 of Lifebook: It's the little things with Tamara Laporte
I am a little bit behind with lifebook but here's another lesson I did and....... it was way out of my comfort zone ;)

This is the end result, not completely happy with it but I had fun creating it.

"this is so NOT going to be okay" LOL, But in the end I am happy with it, I had fun and I tried something new again :)

 

New Round Gelli plate

Last week I got myself the new round gelli plates at De Craftorij shop. I bought the 4 & 6 inch and I started playing with them. I must say I LOVE them!!!

I already had the bigger round 8 Inch one so I started off with that one and made some big circles first. I think you can see it best at the first picture below.

After making circles with the 8"Gelliplate I started working with the 6" plate and  after that the 4" one.

I used some funny color combinations, the ones I probably wouldn't use together normally but I must say I like the overall result.

The page I made is about 9 x12 inch. Not sure what I am going to do with it but it will probably become a background for an Art Journal page or something like that.

Forever Green Zig- Zag Album

The other day I designed the red zig-zag album for a design team call. Now I also made one in green with Forever Green design paper by Prima Marketing.

Project Life cards with Stampotique

After seing a tutorial by Rianne from De Craftorij where she made some Project Life cards using a flower stamp I decided to make them too with this Stampotique Flower stamp,( Carol's Flower Large) and coloured them with distress ink.

Keep Calm Canvas

Last Saturday I made this great canvas at the Craftorij, the original one, designed by Miranda is the one one the left. I changed it into colours which would better suit my kitchen and edited the text too. LOL

Found a nice place for it, on top of the frigde ;)

Stampotique November Challenge @ The Craftorij part II

These Art journal pages I made for the 2nd November Challenge at The Craftorij in Holland. I worked with the new Andy Skinner paints, ink, stencils, gesso, clear modeling paste, old paper, and of course some Stampotique stamps by France Papillon :)

The Craftorij's 4th Anniversary

This Art Journal page I made for a Stampotique challenge at The Craforij to celebrate their 4th anniversary. The background I made by using a mini gelliplate as a stamp together with acryllic paint and a lot of different tools and stencils.

Art Journal pages for a Round Robin I am joining this year, made with all kinds of different techniques and products. Two completely different styles, but actually, I am quite happy with the results (If I may say so LOL:)

Album designed for private group

The other day I have been asked if I wanted to do a workshop for a group of crafty ladies to celebrate their annual gathering. Quite a challenge as there were ladies with pretty some mixed media experience. I designed an album using lots of leftovers from boxes, envelopes and cardboard. I even added an old small record in it.

We decorated the album with 7-Dots paper and some Tim Holtz embellishments & ribbon. As I forgot to take pictures of my own album ( it's still for display in the shop) I am showing you the pictures of one of the finished albums made by Coby, don't you just love it ?  

The Craftorij Summer Challenge

Last months I have been very busy with the summer challenge at the Craftorij. We made an index card every day and here you see the results, all cards together. So that's what I have been doing lately :)

OMG it has been so long!

Hi  everyone,

I just noticed that it has been over 2 months ago since my last post. Things have been quite hectic over here so that's wht I didn't have time to post.
I haven't been doing nothing so now I am showing you a few indexcards I made for a Summer Challenge in Holland. We get a prompt every day and have to create something on an index card. I am sowing you only about 10 but I think I made about 35 cards now.
