Album-bookbox, work in progress

Work in Progress: 

A Graphic 45 Couture Book-Box which I am making for my parents-in-law who are going to move to a new house after living here for almost 43 years.  I am not completely done yet but I thought it might be nice to show something else in between all art-journaling and mixed media projects.

De Graphic45 Couture Book-Box welke ik aan het maken ben voor mijn schoonouders. Ze gaan na 43 jaar hier gewoond te hebben verhuizen dus ik hoop dat dit een leuke herinnering voor ze zal zijn. Het is nog niet helemaal klaar maar ik dacht dat het wel leuk zou zijn om eens iets anders te laten zien tussen alle Art Journals en Mixed Media projecten door. :)

Art Journal Spread with left-over Graphic45 design paper.

These art journal pages I made with some left-over pieces Graphic45 paper from a couple of years ago. I think it was called the Steampunk Debutante. First I applied black gesso on both pages. Then I started working on the left page first. Cutting triangle shaped pieces and making them fit next to each other as good as possible. Then i stamped over all the small pieces of paper with a Tim Holtz stamp.

The winged lady is also from the same collection, I glued and stitched her on distressed vellum paper.

On the right page I again used some left overs from the Graphic45 collection, I added some modeling paste with a stencil and added the Tim Holtz Gears and  Apothecary Bottles.
