ATC Swap Stampothique

Voor een ATC -swap op de Stampotique Facebook pagina deze ATC gemaakt. Het onderwerp was "Outside the Box". Ik heb een "venster" gemaakt en deze aangekleed met wat tekst, eyelets en scrappers floss. Aan de binnenkant natuurlijk een gezellige Stampotique stempel en een hartje bedekt met clear embossing poeder.

This ATC I made for the ATC exchange on the Stampothique Facebook page. The subject was "Outside the box". The title was chosen by Pauline from the UK and I was the lucky one who had to send her an ATC. Her message when she received it : "Love love love. Thank you Esther, this is so wonderful. Truly out the box lol xxxx

Cover Art Journal.

For this art journal I used an old binder. I first applied gesso on it and also the red heart wich I made from tissue paper and a few layers of red colorations colorspray. After that I coloured the cover green with a thin layer of colourspray (mixed with a bit of white paint) and a babywipe. Then I applied the face and covered all with transparent gel medium for protection. Outlining the image & heart with a black pencil and also a bit of black ink on the heart to make it look more grungy.  After that I used stencils and stamps to finsh the look :)

Some tags I made using different techniques like: a transfer technique, stamping, doodling, stencils, embossing etc. etc.

Projects made for The Craftorij Design Team Call

2 Mixed Media canvasses

Zig-Zag album with Prima Marketing paper "The Optimist".

18 compartment display for storing ATC-cards, tags etc.
Made with Tim Holtz paper.

Art Journal Spread with left-over Graphic45 design paper.

These art journal pages I made with some left-over pieces Graphic45 paper from a couple of years ago. I think it was called the Steampunk Debutante. First I applied black gesso on both pages. Then I started working on the left page first. Cutting triangle shaped pieces and making them fit next to each other as good as possible. Then i stamped over all the small pieces of paper with a Tim Holtz stamp.

The winged lady is also from the same collection, I glued and stitched her on distressed vellum paper.

On the right page I again used some left overs from the Graphic45 collection, I added some modeling paste with a stencil and added the Tim Holtz Gears and  Apothecary Bottles.

Purple Round Robin Art Journal spread.

Another spread in a Round Robin art journal. For this one I created the background with different colors acryllic paint, stamps and tissue paper (I love using Tissue paper :)) After that I added some stamps with purple archival ink, a swirly doodle & dots with white posca pen and the black text and arrow.
The flowers are handpainted with purple and white acryllic paint.

Fantasy art journal spreads

Love these fantasy creatures! I made them on backgrounds with all kinds of products like stamps, ink, pencils, gelato's, stencils, tissue paper etc. etc. After drawing my Fantasy Friends I covered most of the background with 2 different colors blue acryllic paint.

Art Journal spread in Round Robin album

The background I made with a gelli-plate print, stamps, printed tissuepaper and white doodles. The Audrey Hepburn face is printed on tissuepaper and applied with clear medium. I stamped the "dream" word on old dictionary paper and then stitched it on to the page.

Purple pages for Round Robin Journal

Frida Kahlo in my own Round Robin Journal

As a start for this Round Robin I had to make the first spread in my own album myself. As I love Frida Kahlo I had to use this Stampothique Frida stamp of course. The background I made with a couple of colors acryllic paint and then I added stamps, doodles, washi tape and Tim Holtz tissue paper.

A Stampotique MOO

This is my first MOO, but what exactly is a MOO?
A MOO is a very small card 1.1 x 2.75 inch (about half the size of a regular business card) This one is made for a Stampotique challenge at the Craftorij so of course it has some Stampotique stamps, howmany different ones do you see on this card?
( I know, I know, I forgot to cut a piece of white paper, really stupid but I couldn't change it anymore so please don't shoot me :) )
